"I came to Level 10 Martial Arts College with the goal of not improving myself, but my son’s discipline, focus and social skills. With a slight knowledge that martial arts aims to develop that in people, it seemed a good path to take to take to help my son’s behavior.

What we have learned and gained in the year past was beyond what I would have thought we could get out of Level 10 Martial Arts. My son is more focused in so many ways, and I cite the core structure of the LTMA school, but more importantly, the talent and commitment of the LTMA staff in helping us through rocky parts. They have truly come to my assistance to guide my son’s behavior and help him gain a appreciate of a sport and lifestyle that he would have never had.

As an added bonus, I have found a whole new lifestyle and passion. "

Erin Sparks, (Father of Aidan, Age 9)

"My Grandson's self-confidence has grown tremendously.
He has REALLY come out of his shell and has a tremendous
amount of confidence in himself now!

At one time, that was very difficult for him. He can now interact with his classmates with less fear. I don’t think he could have done that without what he’d learned in Martial Arts."

Jean Kopernack, Grandmother of Anthony Webb (10 year old Black Belt)

"We are very pleased with the leadership training at your school.

Our son's have learned excellent leadership skills at Level 10 Martial Arts College. There is a mutual respect between the teachers and students in class and excellent role models for our sons.

When the tornado hit the school you showed them a real LIFE-LESSON about determination and persistence. Thank you!"

Jim & Debbie Richards, Indianapolis (Parents of Nathan, age 16 & Jacob, Age 12, Both Black Belts now)

"Considering the struggles I had previously with their adjustments to being raised by grandmom instead of mom, Level 10 has filled a great void in their little lives and helped me reinforce what I try to teach them.

Felicia just got recommended for the mentoring program at her school for academically talented kids, and I see her doing better in school by leaps and bounds. She always did pretty well, but the past year, she has just surpassed my expectations.

And Jordan has ADHD, and I can not believe how he can stop long enough to focus and learn the forms and skill sets. Unbelievable.

I was worried about him, but he has surprised me to no end. He is learning a lot better control, and I think it's because he has a reason to want to try harder because he loves the training.

I had never thought of martial arts training as an aid to ADHD, but am finding out that it has made an amazing difference in the hyperactivity.

He is actually settling down long enough at home to focus on practicing his forms and this is a BIG help. "

Shirley Harris (Grandmother to Felicia, 12 & Jordan 10, Both Black Belts now)

" My son Alex has grown up without his father. I can’t tell you how much he looks up to and respects you, and how much your leadership means to him. As his mother, I thank you for caring and taking your valuable time to teach Alex and other young people your skills and excellent values. Thanks God for you
and people like you."

- Amy Vasquez, Mother of Alex Greenwood

"I am afraid to think where Ryan would be in life right now if he had not had the training in self confidence, self discipline, respect for himself and others and most importantly the role models he has been able to have in his life. Thank you for everything!!"
Cheryl Fisher (Mother of Ryan, 19 Year Old Black Belt)

 Childrens Martial Arts Classes

Parents:

Who your child will become in the next 5 years is determined by only TWO things:

1. What they put in their minds (we instill a positive "success" message in every class)

2. The people they associate with (we have towering role models for your child to associate with)

CHILDRENS CLASSES (Ages 7-14)

We specialize in working with professional families like yours to build a child’s confidence through learning how to set and  achieve worthwhile goals. Most kids with low self-esteem don’t feel like they are good enough to be on a team and may shy away from activities that require group participation. We work with kids to build their self-image up so that they feel GOOD about themselves and that they are just as good a person as the kid who hits home runs on the baseball team or the older sister who just seems to be good at everything.

 Our mission is Personal Development.

Our program will not create 'little bullies' that go around kicking and punching other kids.

In fact, just the opposite is true. Our goal is to develop kids into role-models. We want them to go back to school and be the example for their teachers of what it means to be respectful, highly focused on achieving good grades and models of unshakable confidence and self-discipline. These traits are taught and discussed in each and every class in such a way that we get children to want to do these things. So, a side benefit of Traditional Martial Arts training here at Level 10 Martial Arts College is that we put the power and authority back into the hands of the parents and teachers.

If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for but you’re hesitant about making a commitment because you aren’t Sure if your child will enjoy it and stick to it then call us RIGHT NOW!! 782-8000

Look at it this way. Your child's first and biggest challenge comes not from "fighting for his rights on the street," or "beating up the neighborhood bully." It comes, instead, from battling more sinister forces. Your child's own fears and self doubts: Children Martial Arts

  • "I’m not as smart as Travis."
  • "I don’t get what my teacher is saying."
  • "I wish I was as [strong, pretty, tall] as Bailey."
  • "Why does Nathan keep giving me a bad time?"
  • "Why can’t I be as popular as Arianna?"

The question is, how do you get your child to fight these demons? You know the problem. Your child has a tough time even telling you she's haunted by them. Never mind how she might conquer them.

Well, the good news is, I have a proven solution. A program that has already worked for over 5,000 Indianapolis children. A series of lessons your child can learn easier than you think.

I call it "Success Philosophy." Let me tell you its secret.

To repeat, martial arts are less about your child learning to fight others, and more about fighting. . . himself. His innermost fears.

Conquer them, and your child unleashes within himself a powerful, unstoppable force. A force that gives him the strength to kick down the doors of his own self doubts. A force that opens your child to the exalting power of values.

In other words, when your child uses the self-discipline learned from Traditional Martial Arts to conquer his fears, he has the power to transfer that self-discipline to all other areas of his life. I know of no other activity that does this better than the Martial Arts. (I should know. Remember, I've been teaching it for over 15 years.)

Now, you may be asking, how does all this "values" stuff work? And why does Martial Arts manage to do a better job teaching it? Again, more than any other activity, Martial Arts gives your child the chance to explore her innate powers.

She'll marvel (as you will) as she increases in strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and harmony. Yet, this is only the start. In fact, her physical skills act as a foundation for something much more important: the development of her value skills, mental and spiritual. And not cut off from her physical skills, but intimately connected -- even bonded -- to them.

Like this:

COURAGE. Your child finds the courage to move outside of his comfort zone. He wills himself to take on more difficult karate moves and skills. He becomes no longer afraid of being afraid. As he does so, he learns that whatever he sows, so he reaps. He learns to blame no one but himself. He suddenly sees his life as a constant, never-ending journey of life-giving improvement. In short, with a deep breath, he refuses to become a victim of fate. He puts an arm lock on his own destiny.

STAYING POWER. Your child finds joy in improving her physical stamina. She can walk farther, run longer, and practice skills until she gets them right. In turn, she learns not to give up. She sticks things out. With the help of her teachers, she strives harder, longer to reach her goals. Even if she fails, she preserves her self-respect. She won't let her self doubts get in the way of finding ultimate solutions.

HONESTY.  "Where performance is measured, performance improves." Yet, your child has to first accept where he stands now. That means measuring current strengths. Above all, he learns that to succeed, he can't fool anyone, especially himself. This results in a keener focus. He learns to make eye contact with his teacher (and not just in Martial Arts). He pays greater attention to what each teacher says. He knows and accepts where he stands.

These are just three of the powerful, energizing values your child will get from the our program. In short, you can look forward to your child developing. . .

  • Powerful Self Control. She’ll refuse to give in to negative peer pressure. She’ll have deeper respect for rules.
  • Improved Focus. She’ll learn what’s needed, along with the skill to "zero in" on critical tasks at hand. Normal, yet time-wasting, childhood distractions won’t get in her way.
  • Fearless Self Confidence. Watch as your child finds the courage to open any door life has to offer.

Towering role-model teachers. As you might guess, all of this couldn't have happened unless we had the very best of teachers. To make sure we have the very best, each of them started as white-belt beginners, right here in my school.

Today, they are all martial arts experts -- advanced black-belts, in fact. Many have won awards for their teaching and physical skills.

Now, I still know what you're thinking: "How can I know for sure the Level 10 program will work for my child? Will learning to `kick, block, and punch' really work for her?" I've made it very easy for you to find out. . .

2 Weeks of Lessons. Test our program for 2 weeks with no further committment to see for yourself that I can give your child the powerful benefits promised in this letter.

"I would like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU for ALL that you have done for my son Esteban, both emotionally and financially. at the beginning, I was very skeptical about him attending classes, do to the fact that I was not sure if he would, or could commit to something this demanding.

It has been really hard to financially afford his training, but it has been worth every penny to see the affect that it has made on my son as he becomes the man that I have always hoped him to be.

Although I know he is far from being a MAN, but, he is on the right path with you and level 10 on his side. I have always believed that a child is not only raised by a family but by a community and the choice to make Level 10 the community in which to raise my son was the best choice I could have made. Again, with deepest gratitude I say thank you."

Marina Wheeler, Indianapolis

"In general, Corbyn does not enjoy activities that are physically challenging. School work has always been very easy for Corbyn- No challenges.

Therefore he has not been challenged until he enrolled in Martial Arts.

After his last attempt to test Corbyn learned a very important lesson.

After Master Theros discussed with him the results of his test, Corbyn realized that he had to work a lot harder.

We asked him if he would like to try again later in the week to test and he responded by saying this…”I don’t want to cram and learn it for a day or a week.
I want to be able to remember it all the rest of my life.

We were so proud that Corbyn understood that it was O.K. not to be promoting. Honestly we knew Corbyn was not at his level 10 but it was a turning point in his mental thinking for him to accept this and want to work harder.

I give all the credit to Master Theros and the way he deals with each individual child/adult. If he accepts anything Corbyn puts out then Corbyn has nothing to work for.

We are thankful that Corbyn has been given the opportunity to EARN his black belt at his level and in his time- not ours- not the school’s. Thanks for your dedication to this school. "

Barbara Fields (Director of Riveria Children's Center & Mother to Corbyn, Age 12)

"Master Theros,

I wanted to let you know how proud I am of Shawn. As you know, he suffers from ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. He has always had trouble with focusing, concentration, homework, and behavior. Since he started your program he has come a long way from the boy we knew just a few short months ago. What took another student 15 minutes to do homework, it would take Shawn sometimes 2 or 3 hours to accomplish. He has really been trying hard, and I felt the after school program was helping. I enrolled him in your academy.

He is learning to control his temper, although I believe we have a long way to go. His focus has tremendously improved. Last evening, he had a math worksheet with mixed denominator fractions. Prior to your class, Shawn thought math a total nightmare. I heard the cries, the temper, the "I CAN'T DO THIS!" so many times I was losing my own mind. Last night, he sat down, did this entire worksheet, and not only did it neatly, but got all the answers correct, in 15 minutes. To me this is nothing short of a miracle, as I didn't hear any complaints or denials of ability to do the assignment. He cleaned his room at home and is complaining less on doing his chores. His hygiene has improved, and his overall perspective of his belief in himself has impressed me, just in the few short weeks he's been a part of your classes.

Even when Shawn's behavior is less than what we wish, I simply ask him, "Is this how Master Theros would want you to act?", and he simply says, "No, ma'am, I'm sorry." For Shawn, things have always been someone else's fault, his behavior is due to someone or something else, and he never took responsibility for his actions. For him to simply admit he was wrong, and make no excuses, has been a wonderful, eye-opening experience. I believe, with your classes, Shawn will reach his potential of becoming anything his heart desires, and is on his way to becoming the young man of responsibility I always knew he could be.

Thank you and your academy for helping my son believe in himself!"
